For auction is a vintage Conn Vocabell 40B Trumpet made by C. G. Conn Elkhart, IND. The serial # is 300752 circa 1935. The valves look and work well. See the photos for the cosmetic condition and disassembly. This trumpet plays well and is fun to play. The lacquer is off this trumpet. It is in raw brass. It is unique compared to any horn I had played before. The valve button on the 2nd valve doesn't match the other two. It looks to me like the 2nd valve slide has been replaced. The trumpet has various nicks. The trumpet can play very loud when pushed. The trumpet is used and sold as is.
